GUIDELINES AND CONDITIONS FOR MALAYSIA’S ASIAN SCHOOLS 2011 PARTICIPANTS ONLY

The closing date for all Official Players  ACCEPTANCE OF Asian Schools
2011 OFFER is 24 November  2011

Upon acceptance of offer as Official player, a deposit of Euro100.00
must be forwarded to MCF for registration fee payment to Organizers.
(This is non-refundable by the Organizer)

Additional Player / Accompanying person

MCF will only accept entries as confirmation with a deposit of Euro
100  as registration fee for each additional player/Accompanying
person. This payment is obligatory for all and its prepayment
represents a confirmation for their participation. (This is
non-refundable by the Organizer)

The closing date for registration on all entries shall be 24th
November 2011. After this dateline, a late penalty of Euro100 will be
imposed . (This is non-refundable by the Organizer)

Dateline of Payment

All balance of payment must be made by  01st December  2011.

The above dateline shall be strictly imposed for all participants so
as to ensure the early booking /reservation for Malaysian delegation
hotel stay with the Organizers.

MCF reserved the right to reject any such entries if the above
dateline  are not met accordingly.

Flight booking

Kindly submit your flight payment as soon as possible so that airline
bookings can be arranged. All participants flight details must be
provided to MCF by 1st December so that airport transfer by the
organizers can be arranged. (Airport transfer are included in the
registration fee.)

Please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months from
the date of departure .
Kindly ensure your Visa/travel  approval before departure.

ASIAN Amateur Open and Women Chess Championship 2011

Malaysia will be hosting the ASIAN Amateur Open and Women Chess Championship 2011 to be held in Crown Plaza Mutiara Hotel Kuala Lumpur from 25th November until 1st December 2011. The 9 round Swiss event is offering a prize fund of USD 7,000 with USD 1,500 set aside for the winner. Women and Unrated players are entitled to win additional prize of up to USD 400 if they finished first in their category.

This is an ASIA level event sanctioned by the ASIAN Chess Federation and the winner will have the rights to be crowned as the best Amateur player in ASIA. The Open section offers 9 main prizes and both the Women and Unrated category offers 4 additional prizes.

The 2nd National Rapid Championships 2011 in UTP, Tronoh is not a MCF Selection Event for MAS vs SIN Match 2012.

The 2nd National Rapid Championships 2011 in UTP, Tronoh is not a MCF Selection Event for MAS vs SIN Match 2012.

 Based on the Match format and number of boards to be agreed by both sides, MCF Selection Committee shall meet beforehand to determine the Selection Criteria for MAS vs SIN Match 2012 accordingly.

2011 ASEAN Age Group Chess Championship


12th June 2011 - Malaysian team leave for the 12th ASEAN Age Group Chess Championship which will be held in Tarakan, Indonesia from 12th-21st June 2011. The delegation which  consist of  30 players and 15 official/coaches/accompanying parents  is head by Malaysian Chess Federation's (MCF) Secretary - Gregory Lau.

As mentioned by Greg (photo left), the participation of teachers from states MSSM and parents  as team manager and players manager will play a more pivotal role in organization aspect. This will create a better work together within chess community  for the future  as MCF's objective is to develop and build more committed officials and coaches from grassroot development.

Kindly include your full name (as in passport/ID), trainer title, gender, date of birth, Occupation, home address, office address , contact number, email address (+ 1 portrait photo to be email).

Above is the list of Malaysian FIDE Accredited Trainers and their financial obligations for trainers title licences.

The title licence renewal will be valid 01.01.2011-31.12.2014 (after payment).
It should be paid by 28.02.2011, to the FIDE Trainers Bank Account (as below)
