All Malaysians FIDE Accredited Trainers are encouraged to register with the Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF).

Kindly include your full name (as in passport/ID), trainer title, gender, date of birth, Occupation, home address, office address , contact number, email address (+ 1 portrait photo to be email).

Above is the list of Malaysian FIDE Accredited Trainers and their financial obligations for trainers title licences.

The title licence renewal will be valid 01.01.2011-31.12.2014 (after payment).
It should be paid by 28.02.2011, to the FIDE Trainers Bank Account (as below)

It must be clear that by failing to fulfil this financial obligation the trainer will be suspended automatically from the official FIDE trainers’ list.

THE NATIONAL AGE-GROUP CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2011

The National Age Group Chess Championship 2011 will be organized as details below:-

Date : 12th - 14th March 2011

Venue: CHANCELLOR HALL, UNIVERSITI TEKNOLOGI PETRONAS(UTP), TRONOH, PERAK


Organizer: Jointly organised by   Universiti Teknologi Petronas,  Perak Chess Association and Malaysian Chess Federation.

TOURNAMENT:     6 Age Groups in 2 categories (Boys and Girls),   8 Rounds Swiss System

Time Control: 45 min. + 30 sec. increment from move 1 - All moves must be recorded

26th SEA Games 2011 MCF Selection Guidelines and Conditions

The Selection Committee (SC) of the Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF)

26th SEA GAMES 2011

MCF SELECTION GUIDELINES and CONDITIONS

Depending on OCM / NSC requirement and approval;

1.1 The S.E.A Games National Squad shall comprise of :

     a. Men squad
     b. Women squad

1.2 Selection for shortlisted players for the National Squad to S.E.A Games 2011 shall be based on the    following criteria:

     a. 2 Men representative and 2 Women representative of Asian Games, Guangzhou 2010
        MSN Category A Athletes
     b. Top 8 Placing in the National Closed Men Championship 2011
     c. Top 8 Placing in the National Closed Women Championship 2011
     d. FIDE rating (Current Active list)

1.3 In the event where one or more players decided to pull out from selection,
      FIDE rating (Current Active list) according to list rank order shall be used to decide the replacement.
     *
    Players from FIDE Rating active list shall only be considered for selection if one has at least played 1 FIDE       rated event within the period of 12 months preceding to the date in which applications for selection for  shortlist player is closed.

Men Squad

The Criteria: Depending on OCM / NSC requirement and approval;

MCF shall shortlist 10 Men players from ;

1) Asian Games, Guangzhou 2010 MSN Category A Athletes

2 Men
1. IM Mas Hafizulhelmi
2. IM Mok Tze Meng

2) TOP 8 finishers in The National Closed Men Championship 2011.

In the event when one or more players decided to pull out from selection,
FIDE Rating (Current/Active list) as according to list rank order shall be used to decide the replacement.

Players from FIDE Rating (Current/Active list) shall only be considered for selection if one has at least played 1 FIDE rated event within the period of 12 months preceding the date in which applications for selection for shortlist player is closed.


Women Squad

The Criteria: Depending on OCM / NSC requirement and approval;

MCF shall shortlist 10 Women players from ;

1) Asian Games, Guangzhou 2010 MSN Category A Athletes

2 Women
1. WFM Alia Anin Azwa Bakri
2. WCM Nur Nabila Azman Hisham

2) TOP 8 finishers in The National Closed Women Championship 2011.
In the event when one or more players decided to pull out from selection,
FIDE Rating (Current/Active list) as according to list rank order shall be used to decide the replacement.

Players from FIDE Rating (Current/Active list) shall only be considered for selection if one has at least played 1 FIDE rated event within the period of 12 months preceding the date in which applications for selection for shortlist player is closed.

Conditions and Procedures for qualification into FINAL LIST SEA Games National Squad;

1) OCM/MSN requires all National Sports Association involved in the 26th S.E.A Games to shortlist their athletes and register by March 2011. MCF Selection Committee shall set the 1st dateline of 24th March 2011 for all confirmation of acceptance/declined of offers as part of S.E.A Games shorlisted players for final selection.

2) MCF Selection Committee shall set the 2nd dateline of 28th March 2011 for all confirmation of acceptance/declined of offers from FIDE Rating list as part of S.E.A Games shorlisted players for final selection.

3) All dateline for accept/decline of offer shall be strictly implemented.

4) The shortlisted players shall commit to play at least 1 FIDE rated event as part of training within the period of 3 months before the final selection date.

5) The shortlisted players shall sign to commit / agree to be available for MCF scheduled SEA Games National Squad training /selection and MSN centralised training camp at least 2 months (60 days) which include the SEA Games chess event dates.

6) Depending on OCM/NSC requirement/approval for number of events and number of chess athletes allowed to compete, the MCF selectors are to determine, in respect of each player for selection, if that player is fully committed for training and to represent with honour for Malaysia .

7) The players shall undergo rigorous training games with different format game like classical, rapid, blitz, blindfold games etc. Certain factors like full attendance for training, disipline and one’s own commitment for medal/result is important for MCF Selectors consideration.

8) MCF Selection Committee shall set the date of 20th July 2011 for final selection
and confirmation of all Official Players to S.E.A Games 2011. (Depending on OCM/NSC requirement/approval for number of events and number of chess athletes allowed to compete.)

NATIONAL CLOSED CHESS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2011

The National Closed Chess Championship 2011 will be organized as details below:-

Date : 16th - 20th March 2011

Venue: The Dato’ Arthur Tan Chess Center (DATCC)
             4th Floor, Wilayah Complex,
             No. 2, Jalan Munshi Abdullah
             Kuala Lumpur

Organizer: MALAYSIAN CHESS FEDERATION (Co-organizer and hosted by DATCC)

TOURNAMENT: 9 Rounds Swiss System Pairing (using Swiss Manager Pairing System)

Time Control: 90 minutes plus 30 seconds per move per game per player
